Congratulations to our GT students who competed in the Region 7 Robotics Competition today. They won 3rd place in the Middle School Challenge Round out of 80 teams! Way to go HJH!
Our students competed today in the Upshur County Special Olympics. All of our students placed in their events. Congratulations Ryder Ward, Faith Howard, Hailey Mosier, Christian Garrison, and Tristan Orr on your accomplishments!

The Junior High track meet scheduled for today, March 21, has been cancelled due to bad weather.
Our 7th grade science classes are following along with Arizona State University's 2022 March Mammal Madness. Students will predict battle outcomes based on adaptations and habitats of animals. The student with the best bracket predictions at the end will take home the 2022 March Mammal Madness trophy. Battles begin next week!

The 7th grade class is participating in a Team Challenge for this semester. Coach Phillips Team won the first two week challenge and celebrated with a pizza party today!

Our HJH art classes recently completed these projects. The winter trees are a color study project focusing on warm and cool colors, tints, and shades. The skulls are a Georgia O’Keefe inspired project working with form, value matching, shadows and highlights.
