Harmony Junior High Awards
Please join us Friday, May 19, to honor the Junior HIgh students. The 8th grade awards will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the Junior High gym and the 6/7th grade awards will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thank you and hope to see you there.

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
As Principal of Harmony Junior High, I would like to thank all my teachers and staff. They each work very hard to help our students become the best they can be and I could not ask for a better group of people. Thank you Harmony JH teachers and staff!
Secretary Appreciation Day
Today is Secretary Appreciation Day and I would like to thank Mrs. Judy Wall for all the hard work she does each and every day. She works diligently to ensure the campus is running smooth and without her we would be lost. So, THANK YOU Mrs. Wall!!!
STAAR Testing
Testing begins tomorrow, April 25, with grades 6-8 Reading and grade 8 Science on Wednesday, April 26. Please be sure your child gets plenty of rest the night before and have them charge their chromebooks.

The Harmony Junior High band recently competed in the UIL Band competition and scored a 2 on stage and a 1 in sight reading. Great job kids!
Harmony Junior High Track Meet
Please be advised, the JH District track meet that was originally scheduled for Tuesday April 4, in Mt. Vernon has been moved to Monday, April 3. It is still in Mt. Vernon.

Our busses will begin routes at 8am. Classes will start at 10 am.

Our HJH Eagles are making history! For the first time in years we had a group of students audition for All- Region Band in December. The students are Eli Klinkey, Cason Horn, Courtney Kelley, Steven Bouknight, Xavier Aguilar, Tyler Nagle, Nathan Myrick, and Leyla Bramlet.
Merry Christmas from your Principal
I would like to take a moment to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and to ask everyone to remember the "Reason for the Season" and let's all rejoice in the many blessings Christ has given us, especially our children. Psalm 127:3 tells us, “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.” Children remind us that we need to play more, laugh more, and that we need to never stop learning. As the principal of Harmony Junior High, your children will always remind me of these things, and for that, I am forever grateful. So on behalf of HJH, I would like to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
