Mrs. Langford wrote: Savannah is always smiling and brings joy to any room she steps in. She is such a bright and positive kid. Savannah is always respectful, kind, and has a big heart.
Mrs. Robertson wrote: Savannah is SO kind, SO respectful, SO caring, and just all around a wonderful student.
Mrs. Salter wrote: Xaeden works very hard and always tries to do the right thing in class. He is a great leader for his peers when it comes to making good decisions. He is quiet, smart, funny and a joy to have in class.

Harmony Junior High All-Region Choir
On Saturday, October 21, 2023, students from Harmony Junior High auditioned into the Region 4 All-Region Choir which will perform at Mount Pleasant High School Auditorium on Saturday, November 4. They competed with other Texas Music Educators’ Association Region 4 schools including Pine Tree, Marshall, Gladewater, Kilgore, White Oak, Paris, Mount Pleasant, Texarkana, Sulphur Springs, and Commerce, among others. The All-Region Junior High Choir students will rehearse on November 4, with outstanding choral directors from across Texas and present a concert in the afternoon. All-Region choir students will receive an All-Region patch after the concert. Harmony JH students auditioning into the choir are:

Mrs. Salter wrote: Danica has gone out of her way to make sure that she has her work done. If she doesn’t understand something she asks. She uses her time wisely and finds things to work on her time. She is positive and kind to her classmates and very respectful during class.
Mrs. Salter wrote: Xavier is always respectful and kind. He pays attention in class and is helpful to his classmates. He stays on top of his grades and assignments.



Harmony Junior High is looking for a Math Interventionist for the 2023-2024 school year. (Full or Part time)
This person will support the district’s 6-8 Instructional Math program to ensure academic improvement and student success. The focus of the position is on Instructional interventions for struggling students and teacher support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Valid Texas Teacher Certification appropriate for area assigned
Knowledge of curriculum, design and implementation
Knowledge of state curriculum and assessments
Ability to interpret data and evaluate instruction programs
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
